About The OWNER

Marcus was born and raised in the United Kingdom but currently resides in Mesa, Arizona where he produces classic tasting BBQ. While the combination may sound strange, it works. Over the past five years barbecue has taken his fancy and with the support of his wife he launched GOOD AZ BBQ in the Summer of 2022.

Marcus is a lifelong Boston Celtics fan, a lover of hip-hop, his family, his dog, and education. When he is not standing over Bessie (his smoker) or creating recipes he can be found dabbling in graphic design, going on walks, reading, watching the NBA, volunteering at his church, or gaming.
